This is a really cute phone. The battery cover is really, really hard to take off. Maybe I am just unlucky, but the problems I have encountered include:1. The phone freezes one me at least once a day.3.
I'm not sure if it's the signal or the phone, but on numerous occassions I have either dropped my calls or have not received calls (only voicemails and not even any missed call messages). You need some fingernails and/or more hand strength than I have.5. No I don't.6. But, besides those problems, the phone is really attractive. Sometimes a window pops up telling me that I have to insert a SIM card, when my SIM card is definitely still inserted.7. However, I have encountered numerous problems with it.
Sometimes this bubble pops up asking me if I want to reformat my memory disk. It worked well when it did, but I am likely replacing this phone now (it's only been about a year, but it's past the warranty and the problems are even worse than before but I can't get it replaced). The keys have started to develop a crack.2. Sometimes when the phone freezes I have to take out the battery to restart the phone because it won't turn off.4.
Coverage". Other features are bad too. Phone does not work about one month beyond warranty. Beware. Stay away. Sony says will be $159 for repair. Error is "No Netw.
Everything about the phone is amazing, but without easy texting it just kills the deal for me.But if you don't text I would greatly recommend this product. The keys began to crack after 3 weeks of use and the buttons are so flat it's just not comfortable. I'm on my third warranty claim and it is just so frustrating. I loved this phone with easy to use menus and excellent controls. It's really worth buying with all the features it includes. It was super easy to get music on the phone and play them. The mp3 player was really nice with features comparable to itunes. The speaker was surprisingly loud too.But once I started texting everything went down hill.
Which means (and I contacted customer service about this) I have to enter all my contacts manually onto my new SIM card. I just bought this phone and have two immediate reactions.1. They keypad is too small and makes entering contact information for over an hour a pain, not to mention texting etc. I haven't done this yet, but it will probably take me over an hour.2. This phone came with a new 3G SIM card. I had an old cingular SIM card that this phone does not recognize.
It's a small problem, but if you are going to use this to listen to a lot of music as I do, it might be something to think about. This is good - while I'm listening to my music it will stop and I have the choice of taking the call or sending a busy signal and getting back to the music. With SE, the set up is more bulky. I like to keep my Walkman in my jeans or shorts pocket.
This is a great phone. As far as the battery life, I listened to music and used my phone almost 12 hours constant on a road trip. You can get a clip set up that will work though. This is the only criticism I have of this phone. The only thing I'm not particulary happy with is the headset setup.
With my Creative Labs mp3 player, the plug set up is slim enough to fit in just about any pocket - same with iPod. When I looked at the phone at the end of the day, it still had 2/3 of battery power left.I highly reccomend this phone. The headset doubles as a handsfree. That said, the thing I don't like is the plug that goes into the Walkman is kind of large.
